Help our newest games find their first fans.
At Supercell, every game team operates like its own startup - small, independent, and united by the ambition to create games that players love for years.
Marketing follows the same philosophy: player-first, insight-driven, creatively brave, and built on deep trust in teams.
This role sits within Marketing Development, the team that acts as connective tissue across Supercell's new and emerging games; who shape how Supercell grows early-stage games, how we use insights to guide decision-making, and how we develop world-class marketing talent and craft to launch our next projects.
These might be a new mobile game looking for its first fans, an emerging title gaining momentum, or a creative experiment that might evolve into something completely new.
You'll be the marketing leader embedded across a portfolio of projects, giving every one of them strategic marketing, market and audience insight, and a dedicated partner at every stage of the road to launch.
You'll report to the Head of Marketing Development and work alongside a small, growing team, whilst partnering daily with Game Leads and central functions - Performance Marketing, Creative Studio, Data & Insights, PR & Comms, Live Ops & Monetisation, and Community.
As the portfolio scales, you'll build and lead a team to meet the growth needs.
The right candidate has deep experience in new games marketing or IP development, is energised by ambiguity and early stage problem-solving, and is obsessed with understanding and serving our players.
You'll need to move fluidly between strategic thinking and getting hands-on with a brief - this isn't a hands-off role.
- What You'll Be Doing
- Own marketing strategy across a portfolio of games - ensuring every game has the right foundations for healthy, long-term growth.
- Bring sharp market, audience, and competitive insight into game positioning, creative direction, and new games planning to strengthen strategic decision-making.
- Enable effective experimentation by leading with a test and learn approach, helping teams reinforce or validate creative bets from early concept exploration to structured soft-launch testing.
- Develop trust, partnership and cross-functional collaboration with game teams, new games stakeholders, and the wider marketing organisation.
- Member of the Marketing Development team at Supercell, supporting how we prepare for the future and contribute towards our upcoming titles, helping to build the function and playbook for our teams.
- Close partner across marketing teams, including UA, insights, ASO and creative studios, to drive hypothesis-led briefs and strategy to creative testing.
- Partner closely with the Research and Analytics functions to deepen our understanding of the player journey through player experience research, and help inform our future product and marketing strategy.
- What You Have
- 10+ years building GTM strategy and campaigns for games or entertainment IP - including at least one new IP launch from early concept.
- A track record in early stage games marketing: You have a knowledge and interest in new games and the evolving ways players discover and fall in love with something new.
- Passionate about helping small, creative teams succeed, with a deep belief that great marketing starts with understanding players, not just plans.
- Both strategic and creative - willing to drive strategic thinking, convert into brief and execute through the production stage.
- Work fluently across marketing functions with a good understanding of the various functions and how they might contribute to the different stages of new games development.
- A self-starter approach to AI. You've found ways to use it in your day-to-day work, you experiment, figure things out and bring the same energy to every new challenge.
- Collaborative and humble, thriving in an environment where influence comes from the quality of your thinking and relationships, not role or hierarchy.
- Passion for games. Games are something that you enjoy and care about, and you are excited to work with talented teams searching for future experiences.
- Where You'll Be
This role is based either in Helsinki or London.
The team members and key internal stakeholders are based in all of our global studios, so to be successful, you'll be expected to travel quite regularly in this role.

Benefits And Compensation
Luring you in with glitter, glamour, and gems isn't what we're about.
We want you to enjoy your time here fully, so we structure our compensation and benefits with that in mind.
It starts with perceiving you as a human being, not a resource.
Relocation? Yes!
