Role Overview:
The SuperClubs and Specialist Course Manager is responsible for the strategic and operational oversight of SuperClubs locations and Specialist Courses across the business. This role ensures high-quality delivery, strong relationships with partner schools, effective people management, and commercial growth through collaboration with internal teams. The role covers both the management of before and after school SuperClubs (across London and the Oxford area) and the development, delivery, and promotion of Specialist Courses within SuperCamps.
Key Responsibilities:
- SuperClubs
- Overall responsibility for overseeing three before and after school SuperClubs locations across London and the Oxford area.
- Line management of SuperClubs Managers and wider SuperClubs teams, including performance management and development.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with host venue schools, acting as the main point of contact.
- Work closely with the Head of Operations and Director on contractual matters with host venue schools, including renewals and compliance with agreements.
- Monitor and manage SuperClubs-related expenditure, ensuring effective financial control and value for money.
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and other internal departments to increase participation, sales, and brand awareness of SuperClubs.
- Coordinate and provide sickness cover where required to ensure continuity of service.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with operational, safeguarding, and quality standards.
- Oversee the planning, delivery, and ongoing development of Specialist Courses across SuperCamps, ensuring consistent quality and an excellent customer experience across programmes such as sports, creative, and STEM courses.
- Recruit, line manage, and support Specialist Course Leaders and specialist staff, ensuring performance standards align with SuperCamps' values.
- Hold responsibility for purchasing and logistics, including equipment, resources, scheduling, venue requirements, and operational planning to ensure smooth delivery.
- Work collaboratively with the Commercial Manager to lead negotiations with third-party partners and specialist providers.
- Partner with Marketing, Sales, and Operations teams to promote Specialist Courses, maximise enrolments, and ensure effective staffing and delivery.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in managing multi-site operations, ideally within childcare, education or activity-based setting.
- Strong people management and leadership skills, with experience of line managing Managers.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, particularly with external partners such as schools.
- Organised and detail orientated, with experience of auditing or quality assurance.
- Ability to work cross-functionally to support sales, marketing and operational objectives.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Full UK driving licence required.
