About the Role

We are looking for a highly organised and detail-focused Accounts / Office Assistant to join our growing, multi-site leisure business. This is a varied and hands-on role supporting the day-to-day running of a busy finance function. You will work closely with the Accounts Manager. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers, is naturally organised, and wants to build experience within a supportive and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately enter and manage financial transactions using Xero
  • Process supplier invoices
  • Support bank and cash reconciliations
  • Maintain accurate and well-organised financial records
  • Monitor and manage the accounts email inbox
  • Liaise with site teams to resolve queries and gather information
  • Provide general administrative support to the finance team
  • Assist with month-end processes and reporting

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
  • Good organisational and time-management skills
  • Confident using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
  • Comfortable learning new systems (we use Xero for our accounts)
  • A proactive, reliable, and positive approach to work
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with different teams
  • Previous admin or accounts experience is helpful but not essential

Working Hours

18 hours per week, spread across three days (Tuesday to Thursday), working from our office.
