Overview
We have an exciting role for a Transport Planner to join our rapidly growing team. The Transport Planner is responsible for planning and managing the efficient collection and delivery of motorcycles across mainland UK. This role ensures routes are cost-effective, align with driver working time regulations, and meet customer expectations.
What You’ll Be Doing Day-to-Day:
- Plan and manage motorcycle collections and deliveries efficiently, balancing cost, time, and driver availability
- Liaise with customers to confirm and communicate collection and delivery schedules
- Coordinate vehicle movements across internal teams, drivers, and third-party logistics providers
- Ensure route planning complies with driver working time regulations
- Review delivery reports, resolve discrepancies, and maintain accurate system records
- Adhere to GDPR, VOSA, internal compliance standards, while upholding SuperBike Factory’s values
What We’re Looking For:
Essential:
- GCSE English & Maths at Grade C or Grade 4 and above or equivalent
- Good geographical knowledge of the UK
- Experience in a busy logistics environment
- Knowledge of EU drivers hours regulations and working time directive
Desirable:
- Understanding of motorcycle mechanics, sizes, and weights
- Experience with logistics or transport planning systems
- Transport Manager CPC training
