Overview
We have a newly created opportunity for an Aftersales Manager who'll be responsible for the efficient day-to-day management of the aftersales operations, including workshop, parts, service and accessories, ensuring high standards in productivity, compliance, and customer experience. This role focuses on productivity and efficiency of the workshop department as well as full responsibility of aftersales revenue KPIs. High emphasis is placed on data collection and analysis, health and safety compliance, and people management, driving continuous improvement in both processes and performance.
What You'll Be Doing Day-to-Day:
- Lead day-to-day aftersales operations, maximising productivity across workshop and service functions
- Manage service planning, technician workloads, and rotas to meet operational demand
- Drive aftersales revenue opportunities across the full customer journey
- Ensure compliance with MOT, health and safety, GDPR, and Consumer Duty requirements
- Oversee team performance, including development, training, and PDPs
- Manage onboarding, performance reviews, and disciplinary processes where required
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping, tooling, and operational efficiency
- Monitor customer interactions, warranty cases, and reputation feedback
- Analyse aftersales performance data and implement improvement initiatives
- Control aftersales costs and report performance in line with P&L targets
What We're Looking For:
Essential:
- At least 1 year as an Aftersales Manager or Workshop Manager or similar operational leadership role operating multiple services
- Experience managing budget and profit performance of the aftersales function
- Experience of automotive environment
- Experience in the motorcycle industry is preferred
- Must have workshop technician qualifications
- Proficient with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
Desirable:
- MOT Level 3
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
- IOSH Managing Safely
- ILM Level 3
- Relevant riding qualifications.
