An exciting opportunity has arisen for an organised and proactive HR Coordinator to join a growing consultancy based in Wimbledon. This is initially a 3-month temporary position to support a busy HR team during a period of growth. For the right person, there is potential for the role to become permanent as the business continues to expand.
This role would suit someone with previous experience working in a generalist HR environment who enjoys coordinating recruitment activity, supporting employee onboarding and providing high-quality HR administration.
The Role
Working closely with the HR team and hiring managers across the business, you will provide support across recruitment, onboarding, employee administration and wider people initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment
- Scheduling interviews and coordinating diaries with hiring managers
- Liaising with recruitment agencies and external candidates
- Conducting initial telephone screening calls
- Responding to candidate and recruitment-related enquiries
- Supporting the recruitment process from application through to offer stage
- Employee Relations Support
- Assisting with the administration and coordination of employee relations matters
- Preparing documentation for absence, disciplinary, grievance and performance management processes
- Taking notes in meetings where required
- Maintaining confidential employee records and ensuring accurate documentation is retained
- Supporting managers and the HR team with follow-up actions and correspondence
- Monitoring absence and probation records and escalating issues where appropriate
- HR Administration
- Preparing offer letters, contracts and new starter documentation
- Creating and coordinating induction programmes
- Chasing references, right-to-work documentation and outstanding forms
- Maintaining accurate employee records and HR systems
- Producing HR reports and supporting data administration
- Monitoring probation review dates and coordinating probation paperwork
- Preparing probation confirmation and extension letters
- General HR Support
- Assisting with benefits administration
- Supporting payroll administration processes
- Coordinating the company work experience programme
- Managing employee anniversaries and long-service awards
- Providing general support across the HR function as required
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- Previous experience within an HR Coordinator, HR Assistant or HR Administrator role
- Experience supporting recruitment and onboarding activities
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Confidence communicating with employees, candidates and managers
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- A positive, proactive and team-focused approach
