Duties and responsibilities:

• Ensure the platform is well maintained.

• Update existing course pages when necessary.

• Keep the LMS FAQs, poll and newsfeeds up-to-date and relevant.

• Understand and manage any LMS system issues and ensure resolution or escalation as appropriate.

• Build new courses and implement any platform changes on the learning management system.

• Actively analyse the system to ensure it works fluidly and correctly.

• Run reports from the LMS as requested.

• Work alongside the Director of Learning, System Process Delivery Manager, the wider project team and the platformsupplier to design and implement new course changes whilst ensuring delivery is of a high standard with innovative use of educational technology.

• Ensure the learning platform is accessible to all.

• Undertake other tasks as may be reasonably requested.

Key skills and experience (all elements are essential for the role unless marked desirable* D):

• Educated to degree level, or equivalent work-based experience

• Experience in design and use of a learning management system (Totara version 18 *D)

• Knowledge of the professional qualifications professional body sector *D

• Ability to develop and maintain internal and external relationships

• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

• Ability to effectively plan, manage and organise workload

• Highly accurate delivery, with excellent attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Ability to identify problems and proactively take steps to solve them

• Ability to work with technology, to deliver improvements to qualifications and learning delivery

• Proactive approach and strong commitment to continuous improvement

• Team player and willing to support others

• A professional attitude to work and all interactions

• Confidence/proficiency in IT

• Demonstrates a proactive, driven and creative approach to work

• Maintain a high level of professional conduct at all times, including contributing to a positive culture in the team
