Are you an HR professional looking for something refreshingly different from the usual corporate routine? We’re working with a London-based law firm that’s breaking the mould. This isn’t your typical legal environment – no stuffy suits, no rigid hierarchy. Instead, they offer a fun, vibrant and down-to-earth culture, where people genuinely enjoy what they do (and who they do it with). With under 100 people in the business, they’re a tight-knit team that values authenticity, collaboration, and a good social.

They’re now looking for an HR Generalist to join their small but impactful People & Culture team of three. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a growing firm where your work will be valued and your voice heard.

About the Role:

The HR Generalist will support a wide range of HR activities across the employee lifecycle. From recruitment and onboarding to employee relations and performance development, this is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide day-to-day HR support to managers and employees, ensuring consistency in policies and practice.
  • Manage recruitment processes end-to-end, from job postings through to onboarding.
  • Support employee relations, including performance management, absence, and grievances.
  • Help deliver initiatives that support engagement, wellbeing, and learning & development.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with UK employment law.
  • Contribute to HR projects aimed at improving processes, systems and overall employee experience.
What They’re Looking For:
  • 2–4 years’ generalist HR experience, ideally in a fast-paced or people-focused environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of UK employment law.
  • CIPD Level 3 or 5 (or working towards) is preferred but not essential.
  • Confident communicator with great interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly organised with good attention to detail.
  • A team player with a proactive, positive attitude.
Why Join Them:
  • A relaxed, inclusive culture where people can truly be themselves.
  • Regular socials and team events – they work hard, but have fun doing it.
  • Real flexibility and a focus on work-life balance.
  • The chance to be part of something smaller, where your impact is tangible and appreciated.

If you’re looking for a people-first HR role in a genuinely refreshing environment, we’d love to hear from you.
