What you’ll do?

Data is at the heart of everything we do at SuperAwesome. We are seeking a passionate and seasoned Senior Data Scientist to lead our data science efforts. In this role, you will be a key player in shaping our data science strategy and driving innovation across the organization. You will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of challenging and rewarding projects, from content classification and moderation to trend discovery and the definition of synthetic personas.

Responsibilities:

1. Spearhead cross-cutting data science initiatives, collaborating with teams across the organisation to identify and solve high-impact business problems.
2. Shape data science practices and processes across SuperAwesome, ensuring that we are using the most effective and innovative methods.
3. Be the hinge between Product, Strategic Insight, Data, Engineering, and Business stakeholders.
4. Develop and deploy machine learning models to improve our products and services, from content classification and moderation to trend discovery and the definition of synthetic personas.
5. Conduct research and development to explore new data science techniques and technologies, keeping SuperAwesome at the forefront of the field.
6. Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to a range of audiences, ensuring that everyone understands the value of our work.
7. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science, continuously learning and growing as a data scientist.
8. Be a hands-on mentor for fellow data analysts and scientists.

Qualifications:

1. Solid background in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
2. Extensive experience as a data scientist, with a proven track record of successful projects.
3. Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and statistical modeling.
4. Experience with big data technologies and cloud platforms.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

2. Experience with natural language processing or computer vision.
