SuperAwesome is an award-winning technology company that powers the youth digital ecosystem, helping brands to meet their audience where they are. We bring together proprietary advertising and gaming products, audience insights, and compliance capabilities to help build a safer internet for the next generation. Our technology is trusted by hundreds of brands and creators and enables more effective digital engagement with almost half a billion young people worldwide every month. As we specialise in reaching under-18 audiences, we have to be as curious, fast-paced, and creative as kids and teens. At SuperAwesome, you’ll be encouraged to own your impact, make your team more awesome, and evolve like a kid as you grow into your role. At our core is the #SAFam, a community where every voice is valued and diversity is celebrated. We prioritise individuality and foster an inclusive workplace where everyone feels they truly belong.
What you'll do:
Awesome Intelligence is SuperAwesome's tool for compliant, privacy preserving and age-appropriate audience-based digital campaign planning for brands seeking to connect with youth audiences. As Interim Product Manager you will work in the Product Management team and directly with the General Manager of the Ads and Intelligence Business Unit, the CTO and commercial stakeholders across the business to translate customer and business needs into clear product outcomes, own the day-to-day product backlog, and partner closely with Engineering, Data and Product Marketing functions to ship solutions that improve planning, activation, and measurement for client campaigns to engage youth audiences across multiple channels.
In this role, you will:
- Own the product delivery flow for Awesome Intelligence’s audience and content functions:
- Maintain and prioritize the team backlog aligned to the Awesome Intelligence Roadmap and overall product strategy
- Write clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and definitions of done; ensure shared understanding and alignment across Business Unit Leadership, Engineering and stakeholders across the business
- Lead sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release readiness; work with Engineering Managers to continuously improve team cadence and throughput.
- Manage scope and trade-offs to deliver iteratively without losing sight of long‑term product direction.
- Identify where course adjustments to the 26/27 Roadmap are necessary and get alignment on the required changes to the roadmap
- Define outcomes and KPIs for any new functionality
- Run discovery‑to‑delivery loops: validate problems, test assumptions, and iterate accordingly.
Who you are:
Experience:
- A digital advertising and marketing native, fluent in the language of this domain, with a good knowledge of the technology landscape around it and - ideally - a solid grasp of the state of the art in audience and campaign planning tools
- A demonstrable track record owning backlog and shipping successful, data‑centric product in this space, using agile methods
- Solid experience working with data science and analytics functions, and managing dependencies on data engineering teams
- Exposure to data privacy regulation and/or youth audience marketing a nice to have
Skills/behaviours:
- You have excellent stakeholder management: able to align differing priorities, mediating with clarity and calm
- You are a data person who can define metrics, interpret dashboards, and use evidence to drive decisions
- You’re a great communicator with a warm, calm interpersonal manner. You can write unambiguous, precise requirements and lead conversations that unblock contentious issues
- You are pragmatic and prioritise getting things done over doing them perfectly
We expect the contract period to be 12 months, with the possibility of a permanent role in SuperAwesome’s Product Management team at the end, based on business need at that time and performance in‑role.
Benefits:
- 25 days Holiday + 8 Public Holidays + Winter Break + Summer Fridays (10 Fridays)
- Enhanced Company Maternity Pay up to 100% of salary for the first 26 weeks.
- Enhanced Company Paternity Pay of 100% of salary for 6 weeks.
- 30 day sabbatical for employees who have reached 7 years tenure
- Axa Private Medical Insurance MHD (medical history disregarded - existing illnesses covered). Also includes an EAP Health Cash Plan to include PMI excess cover along with other benefits like physio, dental, vision etc.
- Life Assurance - 4x salary
- Income Protection - 8 week deferred period and 75% of your salary up to two years.
- Pension through Aegon with 4% employer contribution.
- Cycle to Work & Tech Scheme
- We also offer a work from anywhere type benefits that will allow you to work from anywhere for up to 30 days per year provided you have prior manager approval and are within certain timezones so as not to disrupt the team too much.
