SuperAwesome are seeking a Yield & Supply Operations Specialist to join our Ad Operations Team. In this role, you will be the engine behind our revenue optimisation strategy, unlocking the full potential of our rich kid-safe inventory marketplace. The core of this role is to maximise the value of our supply through sophisticated yield analysis and the automation of tactical decisioning. Bridging the gap between supply partnerships, data science and campaign delivery, your primary objective is to manage automated, scalable processes that optimise bid prices, identify untapped yield opportunities, and ensure our inventory portfolio works hard for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Yield Strategy & Revenue Optimisation: Lead the analysis of yield across the entire inventory portfolio. Identify trends, conduct experiments, and map data insights to actionable campaign improvements that drive revenue growth and hit performance KPIs.
- Automation & Scalability: Proactively identify opportunities to automate manual operational tasks. Work with technical teams to refine and optimise tools that streamline supply mapping, categorisation, bidding and reporting.
- Automated Yield Management: Develop and implement automated bid price optimisations and logic to ensure real-time responsiveness to market conditions and campaign demands.
- Supply Intelligence: Act as the analytical lead for the supply lifecycle. Once a publisher is secured, manage their operational integration with a focus on managing standardised mapping and troubleshooting workflows.
- Performance Engineering: Conduct data-driven experiments to improve tooling and campaign logic. Ensure that Ad Ops Managers are armed with automated dashboards and high-level analysis to hit yield targets.
- Yield-Driven Upselling: Partner with commercial teams to identify high-yield inventory segments, providing the data needed to upsell specific supply to clients or identify expansion opportunities with publishers.
- Inventory Health: Oversee the technical health of the marketplace, ensuring all supply meets our strict kids-safety standards while maintaining optimal fill rates and eCPMs.
Requirements
- Experience: Strong background in Yield Management, Programmatic Operations, or Ad Tech. You should have a proven track record of optimising revenue in a digital media environment.
- Automation Mindset: A passion for efficiency. Experience using or implementing automation tools (e.g., scripts, advanced Excel/Google Sheets, SQL, or working with Product/Engineering teams to build internal features) is highly valued.
- Analytical Rigor: Expert-level ability to interpret complex data sets, identify yield opportunities, and translate them into operational strategies.
- Technical Literacy: Deep understanding of the programmatic ecosystem (SSPs, DSPs, RTB) and how supply-side variables impact campaign performance.
- Problem-Solver: You don’t just fix a problem once; you look for ways to automate the fix so the problem doesn’t recur.
- Communication: Ability to translate complex data and yield metrics into clear, actionable advice for the wider Paid Media and Sales teams.
Why this role is unique: This is not a traditional "Ad Ops" role. It is a niche, specialist position for someone who wants to sit at the intersection of data science and media operations, building and managing the automated systems that power the world’s safest kids’ advertising marketplace.
