What You'll Do: As the Credit Controller, EMEA, you will play a crucial role in the execution of SuperAwesome's financial operations. This role reports directly to the Global Billing & Collections Manager and is accountable for EMEA execution against global AR strategy, tooling, and KPIs. You will be responsible for all accounts receivable in EMEA, including taking ownership and optimizing the tech infrastructure that underpins our debt collection process and billing. This role is critical to maintaining cash discipline and revenue accuracy as the business scales. Your experience will help ensure that SuperAwesome is in the best financial position to continue powering the youth digital ecosystem.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Billing and Collections: Owning the EMEA AR ledger
- Accountable for reducing EMEA DSO and overdue balances in line with global targets
- Drive timely cash collection through persistent follow-up, prioritisation, and escalation
- Being a system expert on our AR platform Kolleno, getting as much out of the platform as possible, challenging the status quo
- Assisting with the UK Audit process
Revenue and Partnering: Developing a deep understanding of how revenue, billing and collections interact, including the double entry around revenue, allocations, accrued revenue and bad debt. Ensure billing and fulfillment data is complete, accurate, and timely to support accurate revenue recognition. Identify and escape revenue leakage, underbilling, or dispute-driven delays.
