Maths Tutor (Post-Primary) – Carrickfergus

About the Role

  • Provide tailored Maths tutoring for Key Stage 3, GCSE, and A-Level students.
  • Create lesson plans that focus on strengthening weak areas and building long-term understanding.

Who We\’re Looking For

  • Must have:
  • A degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
  • At least 1 year of experience teaching or tutoring post-primary Maths.
  • Knowledge of the Northern Ireland curriculum.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain topics clearly.
  • Great to have:
  • PGCE or other teaching qualification.
  • Experience working with learners who need extra support.

  • Pay: £20–£30/hour depending on level taught.
  • Hours: 4–25 per week (flexible schedule available).
  • Location: In person, Carrickfergus (with free parking).
  • Contract type: Self-employed.
