As Commercial Manager, you’ll act as a trusted commercial advisor, providing insight, financial discipline, and decision support across:
- Our store network
- Digital channels
- Brand-led and marketing initiatives
You’ll support both short-term trading performance and long-term brand and customer strategy, helping leaders make informed, confident decisions that align with Macpac’s values and ambition.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Act as a trusted finance business partner - Work closely with Retail, Brand and Support Office leaders to support confident decision-making
- Deliver clear commercial performance insight - Provide actionable visibility across sales, margin, costs, inventory productivity and channel performance
- Lead financial planning and outlooks - Own budgeting, forecasting and rolling outlooks with robust scenario and sensitivity modelling
- Prepare the monthly reporting pack for the Macpac leadership team
- Evaluate and support investment decisions - Assess returns across store network, digital capability, and marketing and brand initiatives
- Translate numbers into meaningful action - Convert financial data into insights that drive customer outcomes, brand priorities and sustainable profitability
- Apply constructive commercial challenge - Balance disciplined financial challenge with a pragmatic, collaborative approach
- Maintain strong financial governance - Ensure controls, compliance and reporting align with Group standards
