Our client is a prestigious, internationally renowned establishment committed to a 2030 Digital Strategy which is a multiyear multi-million-pound programme to review their existing technology landscape to renew, consolidate and/or replace major systems and business applications. Within that, a new programme of work is kicking off to consolidate multiple existing CRMs by implementing a new Salesforce system. The SI has been chosen, and the solution will start being built from March onwards and will be a 16 month programme of work.
Core Functions
- Student Recruitment Application customer journey from enquiry to onboarding
- Student Engagement student welfare, changing courses, etc.
Additional Functions That May Be Added
- B2B engagements with external partners, local authorities, other universities
- Alumni interactions, events, donations, etc.
The Solutions Architect will work with the Programme Director, Business Analyst (very closely), Data Architect and Enterprise Architect. A major part of this role is to make sure that the SI does not overly customise the solutions (just config). They are looking for as much of an out-of-the-box solution as possible with clearly defined new processes. Part of this role will be to review and help approve High Level Designs. The CRM will also need to integrate with multiple other systems and your role will be to oversee the solutions architecture of this with APIs. This will be deployed in the Cloud (Azure) so they will likely use ADF or other Azure based technology for integrations.
Experience Seeking
- Solutions Architecture experience of Salesforce CRM solutions.
- Worked closely with business analysts to ensure that solutions design and business processes work together.
- Experience of architecting Salesforce solutions that integrate with multiple other business systems using APIs and working with Azure based technology as part of your architecture.
- Worked closely with Service Integrators and held them to account (with Programme Team) to ensure they follow what has been agreed for the design and build and do not over customise Salesforce Education Cloud Deployment.
Must be able to work in Lancaster 2 days a week, rest remote. This is a 16 month FTC and an exciting time to join this programme, right at the beginning where you can help define the design and set up for success.
