We are Suntory Oceania, a new $3b multi‑beverage partnership between Suntory Global Spirits and Suntory Beverage and Food. We operate two manufacturing sites, five distribution centres, and employ more than 1,500 Suntorians across Australia and New Zealand.
The Opportunity
As the Quality System Team Leader you are the custodian of the Quality and Food Safety based systems including FSSC22000. You will have ownership over the relevant internal and external audit programs and lead the quality and food safety reviews. You will successfully lead your team to champion quality and food safety at our next‑gen beverage manufacturing facility.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and coach team members
- Custodianship of QESH documentation and provide technical expertise
- Management of Quality Assurance for ingredient and packaging materials
- Manage relevant site‑aligned Quality and Food Safety KPIs
- Cross‑functional support of other quality roles as needed
- Apply knowledge of GMP and SOP practices
Experience That You Will Bring
- Relevant Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or related discipline
- GFSI qualifications (SQF practitioner, BRC auditor)
- Experience in quality positions in an FMCG manufacturing environment
- Supervisory and leadership experience
- Knowledge of HACCP‑based principles
