- As Financial Controlling & Reporting Manager you will have the chance to:
- Work in an international environment and report to the EMEA headquarters based in Madrid.
- Support the process of standardization and simplification in the finance area.
- Lead and work on exciting projects around the topic of simplification in the finance area and compliance with company guidelines.
- Role Responsibilities
- Lead financial control and reporting activities for UK ensuring compliance with IFRS, local GAAP and corporate accounting policies.
- Support in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in UK in accordance with established deadlines and Company policies and Accounting Principles (SP GAAP and IFRS).
- Own annual budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes, partnering with stakeholders to support business performance.
- Manage monthly, quarterly and annual close cycles, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Perform detailed balance sheet reviews, reconciliations and variance analysis to ensure financial integrity.
- Drive working capital management, cash flow visibility and financial governance initiatives.
- Coordinate internal and external audit activities and support SOX compliance requirements.
- Act as a trusted finance business partner to Commercial, Supply Chain and operational teams.
- Cooperation with Tax advisors and auditors.
- Support projects in the finance sector.
Qualifications
- University degree in Finance or completed commercial training, preferably with further development in Finance (Balance Sheet Accountant).
- 5+ years of professional experience in accounting, in particular preparing monthly and annual financial statements.
- Good knowledge of SAP / R3 FI and BW/EDW.
- Good knowledge of dealing with MS OFFICE, especially Excel.
- Very good written and spoken English.
- Service mentality, friendly, safe, courteous demeanor.
