This role will play a key role in the creation of global brand strategy, creative development, and the creation of programs, assets, and tools for key PBMCs to realize the brands’ vision. The focus will be on servicing PBMCs needs, with the U.K. being a key focus for implementation and the main centre of gravity for the brand. Work will include building a compelling vision, strategy, creative and brand experiences, along with creating key assets and tools to execute that vision for PBMCs and the U.K. market.
Working with key cross-functional and agency partners, this role will assist the Sipsmith team with the creation of mid-term strategic marketing objectives and strategies, leading asset development and innovation management to enable market teams to achieve volume, sales, and profit growth objectives annually.
Role Responsibilities
- Contribute to global brand updates and business reviews for the U.K.
- Lead strategic liquid and product discussions.
- Brand Foundations & Stewardship:
- Provide global brand strategy guidance and brand governance information to markets’ Brand and Commercial Marketing teams.
- Facilitate exchange of information (competitive, regional insights, inventory, etc.) and stay updated on brand needs through regular touchpoints with PBMCs to ensure plans align with strategy.
- Build relationships with cross-functional partners, including Innovation, Insights, Finance, PR, etc.
- Strategy & Planning:
- Collaborate with the U.K. lead to contribute to the 3-year growth plans and annual plans for the U.K. and other PBMCs, working with cross-functional teams and markets.
- Oversee budget management and forecasting across global markets.
- Work with Innovation leads on pipeline evolution, bringing strategic and brand-centric insights.
- Support new product development and campaign execution, including go-to-market strategies and asset creation.
- Experience Design & Delivery:
- Develop experience and launch plans for Sipsmith, focusing on U.K. needs; lead creative briefings, reviews, and agency management.
- Lead launch elements for new brands across digital, social, website, PR, experiential, and other touchpoints.
- Partner with target markets to deliver assets supporting brand building and activations.
- Ensure creative is digitally-oriented and leverages new market realities.
- Lead the global Sipsmith team (x 2 heads), aligning workplans and goals with wider Sipsmith objectives.
- Act as an inclusive leader, supporting our Proof Positive agenda and global brand representation.
- Review resource needs regularly and oversee external agency support as required.
- Collaborate with the Founder & Head of Sipsmith on planning, future direction, and utilization of the Sipsmith Distillery Visitor Centre as a key brand asset.
Qualifications
- University degree (Business/Marketing preferred)
- 7+ years of brand management or creative/innovation management experience
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, capable of influencing at multiple levels
- Strong cultural awareness and ability to build relationships and influence across markets
- Strategic and commercial thinking skills, with knowledge of key metrics and levers for growth
- Proven track record of introducing innovative ideas to accelerate brand growth
- Deep passion for branding, consumer culture, and global trends
- Experience managing agency teams
- Leadership skills with enthusiasm for breakthrough marketing
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
- Strong project management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Global brand experience
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills
- Willingness to travel up to 20%
