This position provides an opportunity for an established, commercially oriented finance professional to play a key role in the continued growth of Suntory Global Spirits’ Scotch & Irish portfolio. Based in Glasgow and reporting to the Finance Director, this role works with our Global Finance teams and partners closely with both Brand House Marketing and the Operating Unit. It offers valuable experience in a fast‑paced environment, drives process improvements, and can serve as a stepping‑stone to future opportunities across the organization.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing exemplary finance business support and business partnering to the Scotch & Irish team as they set their brands’ strategic agenda and develop value‑generating financial plans.
  • Partnering with the Scotch & Irish Brand House team to develop long‑term strategic plans, providing a lens of sustainable value generation for the organization.
  • Driving financial performance through high‑quality decision support, including overall P&L, sales and margin management, free cash flow, ROIC, and close control over cost and expense management.
  • Making key financial decisions with supporting quantitative and qualitative analysis to drive long‑term ambition and growth strategies for the Brand House.
  • Analysing house financial performance and forecast to deliver short, mid, and long‑term Brand House goals across planning horizons (Strategic Plan, Budget, Performance, and ongoing risks & opportunities).
  • Serving as the business partner for the Brand House team on liquid monetization opportunities, quantifying and monitoring regional opportunities.
  • Supporting the assessment and deployment of the innovation pipeline (new product launches, LTOs, re‑designs, discontinuations, etc.) to enhance brand value growth and evaluate levers to improve current brand profitability.
  • Reviewing and appraising capital investment decisions during the planning process, particularly as they relate to capacity expansion.
  • Driving continuous improvement to achieve best‑in‑class analytics and finance support.
  • Working on the process simplification agenda together with other Brand House managers.
  • Maintaining financial controls and compliance with SGS processes and procedures.
  • Maintaining financial reporting integrity and control across the Brand House.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in finance or Business Administration; MBA a plus.
  • Minimum 10+ years of financial experience.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including the ability to extract, manipulate, mine, and analyze data for key insights.
  • Ability to conceptualize and think creatively.
  • Strong intellectual ability and demonstrated ability to manage multiple stage projects to completion.
  • Strong analytical, Excel, and computer skills a must.
  • Excellent communication and personal skills; develop and maintain productive cross‑functional and key working relationships across the organization.
  • 10% travel required.
