The predicted salary is between 35000 - 45000 £ per year.

As our Packaging TPL you will be the project support for a wide variety of packaging challenges in the areas of sustainability, NPD and licence to operate technical packing projects.

Including supporting 100% recyclability & 100% RPET projects.

You will contribute to the NPD commitments of the packaging team to drive profitable growth and volume as well as contributing to the saving commitments of the packaging team.

Ensure high standard of quality for packaging materials and related processes.

About your role

As our Packaging TPL you will be the project support for a wide variety of packaging challenges in the areas of sustainability, NPD and licence to operate technical packing projects.

Including supporting 100% recyclability & 100% RPET projects.

You will contribute to the NPD commitments of the packaging team to drive profitable growth and volume as well as contributing to the saving commitments of the packaging team.

Ensure high standard of quality for packaging materials and related processes.

  • What You’ll Do
  • Contribute to development and industrialization of new or renovated pack on productions lies with high quality level/standards according to marketing brief, consumer expectations and regulations.
  • Propose and contribute to cost reduction projects: on raw materials, production efficiency, rationalization
  • Contribute to define sustainability plans, monitor and achieve sustainability strategy targets with Eco conception mindset.
  • Lead pack projects with project management best practice on NPD projects & or Business continuity projects
  • Coordinate stakeholders to achieve product launch successfully in terms of cost/quality/timing including industrial tests and 1st production organization and follow-up
  • Lead risk matrix analysis on the project with relevant expert stakeholders and build risk mitigation action plan
  • Continuous improvement

Support factories and quality department on problem solving packaging issues using Kaizen methodology.

  • Pack category model
  • Support and contribute to the pack category model.
  • Responsible for great standards of packaging specification quality
  • Contribute and deliver the pack category roadmap.
  • Proactive watch on the category and way of working improvement linked to the category.
  • Packaging data & specifications
  • Co-lead creation of packaging Bill of Materials (BOM) in the packaging technical library
  • Co-lead creating and maintaining packaging specifications in the packaging technical library.
  • Packaging Innovation
  • Support with identifying, researching and recommending new packaging solutions driving future growth of the business.
  • Support relationship with local environmental/recycling agencies
  • Ensure compliance of our portfolio to new local/regional regulations
