About your role

As our National Account Executive, you will support the NAC and NAM in executing the Suntory Commercial Plan in their Customer with the objective of meeting and exceeding the designated business KPIs.

What You Will Do

  • Support the NAC and NAM in developing a matrix of contacts
  • Manage weekly orders to ensure clear communication between supply and customer
  • Support the NAC and NAM in selling LRS products and plans
  • Support the NAC and NAM in negotiating the Joint Business Plan
  • Manage the external relationship with the customer
  • Ensure all admin associated with the customer is delivered to a high standard, including promotional proposals, invoicing and debt management
  • Deliver execution of the LRS Commercial Plan in the customer using all appropriate levers to create maximum brand impact
  • Work with Supply Chain to ensure the right levels of stock availability at all times
  • Work with BDE and RDE teams to ensure plans executed
  • Actively pursue new opportunities across wholesale and retail business
  • With the NAC and NAM develop an annual customer plan to meet and exceed target KPIs
  • P&L responsibility for Bestway retail, Vans and catering
  • Forecast volumes and working spend in line with the agreed commercial calendar and customer activation
  • Deliver customer volume, net sales and GP within month, quarter and year
  • Actualise working spend in line with customer invoicing to ensure accurate reflection of the customer’s financial position
  • Monthly review and analysis of customer performance versus plan and prior year

What You Need To Be Successful

  • Degree educated or equivalent
  • Understanding of how an Account Manager/Buyer relationship functions
  • Experience building relationships at all levels within an external organisation
  • A tenacious and entrepreneurial approach to building and sustaining new long‑term relationships
  • Financial numeracy to build strategically sound, financially robust proposals that exploit opportunities
  • Strong capability in Excel and experience with TPM and volume forecasting systems
  • Good understanding of the FMCG marketplace, its key players and projected market dynamics
  • Excellent commercial and organisational skills
