As our Field Sales Planning Manager you will be highly organised and analytically driven to lead the strategic planning and operational coordination of our field sales activities. This role is central to ensuring our field teams – both internal and third party – are equipped, aligned, and optimised to deliver against commercial objectives.
As a key member of the Field Leadership Team, you will work closely with internal channel teams and external agencies to manage the call file, prioritise monthly objectives, set and track KPIs, manage activation POS and continuously review field activations. Your insights and recommendations will directly influence the efficiency and effectiveness of our field execution.
What You’ll Do
Planning & Prioritisation
- Own and manage the end‑to‑end field call file, ensuring alignment with business priorities and resource capacity.
- Collate and prioritise monthly objectives from channel teams, translating them into actionable field plans.
- Develop and maintain a rolling 3‑month field activation calendar, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
- Identify and present new business opportunities that enhance channel strategies and field effectiveness.
- Plan and execute the end‑to‑end Activation toolkits to support activations across channels.
Performance & Optimization
- Define clear KPIs for field activities and monitor performance across internal and third‑party teams.
- Lead regular reviews of field activations and initiatives, identifying opportunities to improve ROI and execution quality.
- Provide strategic recommendations to enhance field efficiency, coverage, and impact.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Act as a central liaison between internal channel teams, commercial functions, and third‑party field agencies.
- Facilitate regular performance and planning meetings to ensure alignment and accountability.
- Cascade key messages and priorities to field teams, ensuring clarity and consistency.
Systems & Reporting
- Utilise CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI) to track performance and generate actionable insights.
- Ensure data accuracy and relevance in all reporting outputs, supporting decision‑making across the business.
- Continuously evaluate system capabilities and recommend improvements to enhance field effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in field sales planning or commercial operations, ideally within FMCG.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into strategic actions.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational capabilities.
- Effective communicator with experience managing complex internal and external stakeholder relationships.
- Proficient in CRM platforms and reporting tools (Salesforce, Power BI, Excel).
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.
