As our Industrial Internal Training Manager, you will lead the capability development and upskilling of operators, technicians and quality personnel, ensuring they are fully competent to operate safely, efficiently and according to SMW and site standards.
What You’ll Do
- Create and lead, with the local leadership team, a yearly training plan to support the plant strategic plan using the process described in the On Gemba Development Program (ODP).
- Build and implement internal and external technical training programs.
- Develop internal trainers and the local training center (DOJO).
- Track and report key performance indicators.
- Manage the dedicated training budget.
- Drive cultural change by encouraging operators and supervisors to embrace continuous learning and versatility as a core pillar of the operational excellence journey, requiring strong influencing skills.
- Ensure cross-functional coordination through continuous collaboration between production, maintenance, engineering, quality, P&C, and leadership teams.
- Balance operational priorities with training needs to ensure skill development without disrupting production schedules.
- Manage external training providers to ensure effective, high-quality training delivery despite limited pedagogical expertise.
- Keep the site Skill Matrix up to date.
- Monitor training KPIs including percentage of training plan completed, training hours per FTE per year, training efficiency, and percentage of internal trainings versus total trainings.

- Industrial Skills Management: Expertise in competency mapping tools (training need, skill matrix, individual and collective diagnostics).
- Training & Pedagogy: Ability to design training paths, deliver practical sessions, and provide on-the-job coaching.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Proficient in using KPIs to monitor skill development and propose corrective actions.
- Knowledge of Industrial Standards: Quality (ISO/IATF), Safety (HSE), and Environmental compliance (ISO 14001).
