About you
As an Analytical Scientist, you will be part of the Technical Service Team, which provides a range of analytical methods to assist R&D with nutritional claim substantiation, due diligence, labelling, and ingredient stability. You will work both independently and with a team to undertake a variety of routine and investigative analyses.
About your role
Your main responsibilities will include conducting analytical testing of samples for routine testing, assessing raw materials, and performing stability testing protocols. You will accurately record results within LIMS to track and report product performance. Additionally, you will assist in the development and updating of SOPs and laboratory documentation, support external and internal audits, and ensure all laboratory work is performed in accordance with GLP, COSHH, and H&S procedures.

What you need to be successful

You should possess knowledge of analytical methods such as GC, GC/MS, HPLC, HPLC/MS, IC, HunterLab Colourimeter, and UV-Vis spectroscopy, as well as GLP and COSHH. A qualification in Analytical Chemistry, Food Science, or a related subject with chemistry content, along with practical experience in a related industry or university, is essential.
