About your role
As a Finance Business Partner, you will work closely with the sales team to support both short-term performance and long-term strategic development of the channel. You will report to a Senior Finance Business Partner and play a pivotal role in managing trade investment, evaluating performance, and ensuring effective execution of commercial plans.
What You'll Do
- Provide insightful analysis and decision-making support to the Head of Channel, Channel Controllers, and their teams to help achieve commercial targets.
- Partner with the Sales Teams to improve forecasting accuracy and support the development and execution of commercial plans.
- Ensure alignment on performance drivers and commercial goals, and communicate performance insights and issues clearly to stakeholders.
- Be an integral part of the Channel Sales Team, offering support and constructive challenge to drive results.
- Embed best practices in trade spend management and ensure adherence to revenue management policies for optimal pricing and customer mix.
- Ensure that financial appraisals support key commercial plans, including Joint Business Planning agreements and promotions.
- Identify training needs within the Sales Teams and contribute to building a strong, self-sufficient team.
- Be responsible for month-end close processes, ensuring compliance with policies and controls.

What You Need to Be Successful
- Qualified accountant with strong financial acumen and experience as a Finance Business Partner.
- Experience in the FMCG sector, particularly in sales channels and customer hierarchies.
- Solid understanding of trade funds management and international accounting standards related to revenue reporting.
- Familiarity with SAP and BI systems.
- Confident and credible communicator capable of challenging and supporting Sales Teams with a balanced approach.
- Strong relationship-building skills, resilience under pressure, and the ability to prioritize and make effective decisions, especially during periods of change.
