The Learning & Capability Specialist will support the Learning & Capability team in delivering engaging, effective, and future-ready learning experiences across SBFE, with a special focus on the GB&I market. This role is ideal for someone passionate about people development and eager to grow their expertise in learning facilitation, employee experience, and program coordination. In addition to supporting core learning initiatives, the Specialist will play a key role in driving the adoption of AI-powered learning tools and strategies. This includes leveraging existing content, reducing manual creation, and enabling personalized, scalable learning experiences through innovative technologies. Working closely with P&C team members and other stakeholders, the Specialist will help implement learning solutions that align with Suntory’s strategic priorities and foster a culture of continuous development, experimentation, and digital enablement. This role may require occasional travel (estimated 10–20%) to support learning initiatives across SBFE markets. Fluency in English is required, and French or Spanish language skills are highly desirable to support cross-market collaboration and learner engagement.
What You’ll Do
- Learning Support & Coordination: Assist in gathering training needs and feedback from teams across the business. Help coordinate logistics for learning programs, including scheduling, materials preparation, and participant communications. Maintain learning records and support reporting through the LMS and other tools.
- Program Delivery & Facilitation: Support the delivery of learning sessions, workshops, and onboarding activities. Co‑facilitate sessions where appropriate and provide follow‑up support to learners. Help ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Content Development & Optimization: Assist in adapting and updating learning materials under the guidance of senior team members. Support the creation of e‑learning modules and digital content using authoring tools and current existing materials. Audit existing learning materials and repurpose them using AI tools, converting documents into microlearning, videos, or interactive formats. Reduce reliance on bespoke content creation by curating and adapting high‑quality external resources.
- AI Integration & Adoption: Identify and implement AI tools that enhance learning design, delivery, and personalization. Partner with internal stakeholders to embed AI into existing learning platforms and workflows.
- Evaluation & Insights: Collect and summarise feedback from learning programs. Help track participation and engagement metrics. Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing learner insights and suggestions. Manage the creation of purchase requests, ensuring correct follow‑up of the budget, and maintaining effective vendor relationships where necessary to support learning initiatives.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Talent COE team and other departments to support cross‑functional initiatives. Participate in team meetings and learning networks to stay informed and contribute ideas.
What You need to be successful
- Experience in a learning or relevant P&C role, with exposure to learning facilitation.
- Strong interest in learning and development with a desire to grow in the field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in AI‑powered instructional design and familiar with tools such as CourseBox AI, Sonix, Articulate 360, and others.
- Skilled in platform integration, LMS, SCORM, xAPI.
- Advocate for inclusive and accessible learning using AI tools.
- Organised and detail‑oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Comfortable using digital tools and platforms, MS Office, LMS.
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to learn from others.
- Enthusiasm for working in a dynamic, purpose‑driven environment.
- Fluency in English is required; French or Spanish language skills are highly desirable.
- Willingness to travel to support learning initiatives across SBF markets when necessary.
