About us
Every refrigerated truck and trailer moving goods across the country has relied on diesel for decades. It's polluting, expensive, and the technology has not changed. Two companies have dominated the market, selling the same legacy technology with minor updates.
Sunswap makes the electric refrigeration that's replacing it — zero emissions, lower operating costs, built from the ground up for how fleets actually operate. Endurance runs frozen goods for 24 hours on a single charge and chilled goods for up to two months. Those numbers matter on the road, and getting them right took years of obsessive engineering from a team drawn from automotive, aerospace, and motorsport.
We have gone from founding to manufacturing at scale globally in just six years. We built our own production facility in Surrey. Today we are 200 times larger by square footage than when we started. We operate on three continents — units run across the UK, France, Netherlands, Belgium, Chile, and Australia. And we are trusted by major brands like Tesco, Ocado, Birds Eye, and Happy Eggs every single day.
We have been named Sunday Times Best Place to Work in 2024, 2025 and 2026. We have won awards for innovation, technology, and marketing excellence. We have backing from leading investors including BGF, Barclays, Clean Growth Fund, Shell, and Rabobank.
We have got the customers, the traction, and the momentum. Now we are taking this British-engineered product global — scaling manufacturing, opening new markets, and building the team that will make legacy polluting technology obsolete across the world.
If you want to be part of a company that is setting new standards for the industry and scaling internationally, this is it.

This is a pivotal role in the growth of our business as we prove our technology across our customer portfolio.
Key responsibilities
- Own and deliver against ambitious sales targets: lead multi-million pound negotiations, close strategic enterprise accounts, and consistently exceed revenue goals.
- Grow Sunswap’s share of wallet across installed UK accounts.
- Create and present compelling, detailed proposals to secure trial agreements and orders.
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline across our customer, taking ownership of your territory and reporting progress clearly and regularly to the wider business.
- Cultivate strong, lasting relationships with existing partners, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions. This includes hosting and attending industry events.
- Work closely with designated regional partners to develop joint opportunities.
- Collaborate with the marketing team sales materials, and campaign activity.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, contracts, amendments, and sales documentation in line with Sunswap's processes and compliance standards.
- Develop strong account plans across your target list.
- Stay ahead of competitor activity and sector developments through regular market analysis, using insights to sharpen your approach.
Qualifications & experience
- Proven success in account management in B2B technology, telematics, fleet, logistics or supply chain, with a consistent record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets. Candidates should state the percentage of target achieved each year.
- Experience selling to or partnering with technology suppliers in fleet and depot operations, such as telematics, in-cab or driver-monitoring cameras, warehouse and depot automation, or electric vehicle charging infrastructure.
- Proven ability to win and grow strategic accounts with commercial directors, fleet directors and operations directors, with evidence of contract value, account growth and retention.
- Experience building and managing a sales pipeline, with clear examples of pipeline coverage and forecast accuracy.
- Strong negotiation and relationship skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers at all levels, including senior executives and founders.
- Proficient in CRM software (such as Salesforce or HubSpot), Microsoft Office and data analysis tools, and able to present performance data clearly to senior stakeholders.
- Comfortable travelling across the region to support client relationships and business development.
- Rigorous approach to sales documentation, including contracts, amendments, correspondence and accurate CRM records.
