We are looking for a commercially driven finance professional who turns complex data into clear, strategic insight. This is a high-impact role at the centre of decision-making, combining strong financial modelling with a forward-looking approach to automation and AI. You will partner across Commercial, Supply Chain, and Finance to shape forecasts, challenge assumptions, and drive better business outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Drive the use of AI, automation, and BI tools within your role to improve financial modelling, forecasting accuracy, and reporting efficiency.
- Identify and implement opportunities to automate manual processes and enhance insight generation.
- Continuously improve financial processes, tools, and methodologies to scale with the business.
- Partner with Commercial, Supply Chain and Finance teams to align assumptions across revenue, pricing, pipeline, and cost inputs.
- Challenge and refine non-finance assumptions to ensure robust, commercially sound decision-making.
- Support pricing strategy and margin optimisation through close collaboration with commercial teams.
- Build and maintain robust, driver-based financial models to support strategic decision-making.
- Lead cash flow and working capital forecasting, incorporating operational drivers (e.g. customer and supplier terms, inventory, lead times, liquidity).
- Perform scenario, sensitivity, and variance analysis to inform planning and performance.
- Translate financial analysis into clear, actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders.
Qualifications & experience
- 3–5+ years in FP&A, commercial finance, or similar (experience in venture capital or VC-backed businesses advantageous).
- Advanced Excel and strong financial modelling capability.
- Experience with BI tools (e.g. Power BI) and financial systems (e.g. Dynamics).
- Experience using automation and/or AI to improve workflows or analysis.
- Strong analytical, commercial, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to communicate complex financial insights to non-finance stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Maths or similar.
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA / CFA (preferred).
