We are seeking an experienced Grease/Lube Technician to perform preventive maintenance and lubrication services on a variety of heavy equipment, trucks, and support vehicles. This position will work out of both the shop and a field lube truck, servicing equipment on active job sites as needed. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working independently.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform routine greasing, lubrication, and preventive maintenance on heavy equipment and fleet vehicles.
  • Operate the shop and field lube truck to service equipment at project sites and in the yard.
  • Check, change, and top off fluids, including engine oil, hydraulic oil, coolant, and gear oil.
  • Inspect equipment for leaks, worn components, and maintenance concerns.
  • Identify and report mechanical issues, damage, or safety concerns to supervisors or mechanics.
  • Maintain service intervals and complete required maintenance documentation accurately.
  • Assist with minor maintenance and support shop mechanics as needed.
  • Keep lube truck, tools, and service areas clean, organized, and properly stocked.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and job site requirements.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Grease/Lube Technician, heavy equipment service technician, or similar maintenance role is required.
  • Experience servicing construction and heavy civil equipment preferred.
  • Strong understanding of lubrications schedules, fluid service, and preventive maintenance practices.
  • Ability to work in both shop and field environments.
  • Ability to work independently and manage daily service responsibilities.
  • Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Must be able to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in varying weather and job site conditions.

Preferred Equipment Experience

  • Experience working on equipment such as: Excavators, Bulldozers, Loaders, Skidsteers, Rollers, Off-road trucks, Dump trucks, Service trucks and trailers.
