Responsibilities:

  • Deliver food and beverage orders, as well as room amenities, to guest rooms in a timely, professional, and courteous manner.
  • Ensure all orders are prepared, presented, and delivered according to established service standards.
  • Verify order accuracy upon delivery and confirm guest satisfaction with products and services provided.
  • Process guest orders and billing transactions accurately using the POS system.
  • Handle cashless payment transactions efficiently and in accordance with company procedures.
  • Accurately record and communicate guest orders to the kitchen team.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest enquiries, requests, and complaints, ensuring a positive guest experience.
  • Coordinate effectively with the Kitchen, Front Office, and Housekeeping team to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of menu offerings, ingredients, preparation methods, and allergen information to assist guests when required.
  • Promote and upsell food and beverage items to maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Ensure all guest requests and special requirements are handled efficiently and with attention to detail.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, supervisors, and managers to support teamwork and operational excellence.
  • Comply with all company policies, service standards, health and safety regulations, and operational procedures.
  • Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by management to support business operations.

Knowledge, skills and experience:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Food & Beverage Service, In-Room Dining, Room Service, Restaurant, Hotel, or Hospitality operations preferred.
  • Previous experience in a luxury lifestyle hotel or upscale dining environment would be an advantage.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with guests and colleagues.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle guest requests, concerns, and complaints with professionalism.
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize duties effectively.
