The Role
As our Maintenance Handyperson, you will be responsible for the upkeep, repair, and smooth operation of our venues. You will handle a variety of maintenance tasks across electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical work, ensuring our venue remains safe, functional, and well-presented.
- Performa general maintenance and repairs (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, mechanical, painting)
- Conduct regular inspections and resolve issues promptly
- Maintain and repair kitchen equipment, fixtures and furniture
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests to minimise service disruption
- Manage tool and material stock levels
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and safety records
- Work with front-of-house, back-of-house, and external contractors
- Follow all health & safety regulations and provide after-hours support as needed
About You
- Experienced in hospitality maintenance, hotel and multi-site venue preferred
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general repairs
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment and building compliance standards
- Problem-solving mindset, hands-on approach, and ability to prioritise tasks
- Ability to carry out manual tasks, including lifting and moving equipment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility and a proactive attitude to ensuring smooth operations
