About Sunseeker International
Sunseeker was founded on a bold vision: to create a new kind of yacht and redefine what was possible on the water. From our earliest designs in 1967, we’ve pushed boundaries and reshaped the motor yacht industry through innovation, craftsmanship and relentless ambition.
At the heart of every Sunseeker lies a legacy of expert hands and meticulous attention to detail, skills refined and passed down through generations. These are the qualities that set our yachts apart - and the qualities that continue to drive our craft today.
In a world increasingly defined by automation, we remain committed to building hand‑crafted, hand‑finished boats. With over 1,800 talented team members across our busy shipyards - from long‑serving specialists to more than 180 apprentices - our Sunseeker workforce reflects the strength, diversity and pride of our local community. It’s this blend of heritage, skill and passion that makes our shipyards unlike any other place in the world.
Who We Are Seeking
At Sunseeker International, we are looking for a talented and forward-thinking Interior Concept Designer to help shape the future of luxury yacht interiors. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative designer with a passion for innovative interior spaces, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to bring concepts to life through design, visualisation, and technical development.
Working closely with our Principal Interior Designer and wider Design team, you will play a key role in developing inspiring interior concepts that balance aesthetics, functionality, quality, and manufacturability. The successful candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment, enjoy solving complex design challenges, and be driven by a desire to continuously evolve and improve our award-winning products.
A Day in the Life
As an Interior Concept Designer, no two days are the same. You may start by developing new interior concepts and layouts for future yacht models, before collaborating with FF&E, Sales, Marketing, Development, and Production teams to refine designs and ensure they meet both customer expectations and practical manufacturing requirements.
You'll use advanced design and visualisation tools to create detailed layouts, renderings, animations, and presentations, while also contributing to material selections, mood boards, and interior styling. From initial concept creation through to production-ready designs, you will play an integral role in bringing Sunseeker's luxury interiors to life.
Example Responsibilities Include
- Creating innovative interior concepts and detailed layouts for new and existing yacht projects.
- Producing high-quality drawings, renderings, animations, and presentations using Siemens NX and other design tools.
- Working closely with FF&E colleagues to source materials, finishes, furnishings, and lighting solutions.
- Developing mood boards and visual materials to support client and sales presentations.
- Ensuring designs consider build feasibility, quality standards, and cost requirements.
- Managing multiple projects simultaneously while delivering against production and NPD deadlines.
- Collaborating with Development, Production, Marketing, Sales, and Programme Management teams throughout the design process.
- Supporting boat shows, photography projects, and the development of Sunseeker's interior finishes collections.
- Maintaining CAD standards, data management procedures, and drawing office protocols.
- Keeping abreast of design trends, technologies, materials, and innovations within the luxury interiors and marine sectors
To Be Considered for This Role You Should Have
You will ideally hold a degree in Product Design, Interior Design, or a related discipline and possess experience in creating high-end interior concepts. Knowledge of luxury interiors, particularly within the marine sector, would be highly advantageous.
In addition, you should have:
- Strong creative, artistic, and visualisation skills.
- Experience using 3D design software and CAD packages.
- Sound computer literacy, including design software and spreadsheets.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- A keen eye for detail, composition, and visual storytelling.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- A collaborative approach and a desire to work as part of a focused design team.
- A genuine passion for luxury design, innovation, and continuous professional development.
