Are You Sunseeker Deck Fitter?
A Sunseeker Deck Fitter (Mechanical Fitter) will work across our extensive range of luxury motor yachts, completing large structural work packages including flybridges, patio doors, spa tubs and wetbars.
You'll be responsible for the mechanical fitting and installation of external components such as handrails, anchors, cleats and radar chairs, helping to ensure every yacht meets Sunseeker's world-renowned standards of quality and craftsmanship.
Working with a variety of materials including GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic), stainless steel and glass, you'll use a broad range of practical skills to assemble, fit and finish components with precision and attention to detail.
This is a hands-on role suited to individuals who enjoy problem-solving, working from measurements and drawings, and taking pride in producing exceptional results.
- Do you have previous experience in a mechanical fitting, assembly or manufacturing environment?
- Are you a confident user of hand drills, saws and associated workshop tools, with the ability to accurately drill and tap components?
- Can you work from drawings, measurements and key dimensions to achieve precise fitting, alignment and levelling?
- Have you undertaken basic carpentry projects and developed the ability to scribe sheet materials accurately?
- Do you have experience working with materials such as GRP, metal, wood or glass?
- Are you able to interpret technical information and apply practical solutions during the fitting process?
- Do you have a good understanding of adhesives, sealants and their correct application?
- Can you maintain exceptional attention to detail while working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment?

- Our pay rates
- Basic hourly rates from £14.42 to £16.53, depending on experience
- Overtime rates of up to £24.79 (x1.5 rate) and £33.06 (x2 rate, Sundays/Bank Holidays) - please note that Overtime is not guaranteed and it is allocated based on business needs at the time
