Who we are seeking
We are seeking an enthusiastic and ambitious graduate to join our Production & Operational Excellence engineering team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is eager to develop and take on responsibility from day one. In this role, you will work closely with production engineering, quality and design teams with supportive colleagues, structured training and a clear development pathway. You will gain hands-on experience alongside your mentor, building confidence and understanding how everything fits together.
Example responsibilities include:
- Understanding KPI’s, performance metrics and design process flow
- Familiarisation with design tools, systems, quality expectations and documentation
- Lean manufacturing fundamentals
- Develop a cross-functional understanding and project delivery
- Responsibility of specific designed/process and improvement tasks
- Contact with key suppliers
- Delivery of independent projects
- Supporting new processing, manufacturing techniques and new technologies
- Formal reviews and development progression planning
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- Min 2:2 B Eng (Hons) or M Eng in Marine Engineering
- CAD experience (NX or Solidworks)
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams
