Who we are seeking
We are now recruiting for a GRP Finisher/Laminator to join the Sunseeker Development Team, in order to provide support in producing quality mould tools for all New Products.
Example responsibilities include:
- Working to finish mould tool plugs and laminate all mould tools, decks, super structures and other small GRP components, such as fly bridges, seating, steps and wet bars for all new boat models.
- Reading technical information and specifications for glass mat, resin and gel types.
- Being able to fill and fair and work to a detailed drawing.
- Selecting, measuring, mixing and applying gel coat by hand.
- Finishing paint and gel coat surfaces by hand using a variety of tools including; wet/dry paper, finishing compounds, orbital sanders, long boards and blocks.
- Trimming GRP with air driven Cengar saws.
- Undertaking minor repairs to new mould tools using wet layup techniques.
Working as a small team, you’ll seek to achieve the production goals set out, helping to maintain impeccable quality throughout as part of our trademark Sunseeker quality promise.
