Requirements
- You have at least 4 years of experience in a high-performance environment such as fast growing startup/scaleups, blue chip organisations, finance or strategy consulting.
- (Desirable) Experience in a regulated environment (e.g. fintech, energy, etc).
- You have experience working individually and across multiple stakeholders to conduct research, structure problems, and write up product/process requirements which you can drive to implementation.
- You're entrepreneurial in that you're always looking to do things better and faster; you spot opportunities and aren't afraid to dive in.
- You are comfortable with ambiguity and are proactive in making things happen.
- You are comfortable engaging with commercial and contractual work at a senior stakeholder level and can manage direct decision making responsibility.
- You're a team-player, have high EQ, and are good at getting the most out of other people including both internal and external stakeholders.
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and can produce accurate externally shareable materials with limited guidance.
- You have strong quantitative skills and are highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.

What the job involves
- Founder Leverage: Own and execute on high-priority, often ambiguous strategic problems and workstreams across the business, working closely with one of the Co-Founders (Ben).
- Special Projects: Lead on a number of critical special projects across the business of varying size and complexity with a deep focus on the UK energy markets as well as operational improvement and fundraising. You will need to operate autonomously, engage internal and external stakeholders, and directly inform our business strategy and product roadmap.
- Government Policy and Strategy: Support ongoing engagement with UK Gov. on fast changing low carbon tech and energy policy. Understand impact to Sunsave and work closely with internal teams across the business to develop and implement resulting strategic initiatives.
- Commercial and Legal: Producing clear analysis to support strategic and commercial decisions related to new product launches, corporate strategy and funding. This will include coordination with funders and external advisors and exposure to key legal workstreams.
