Requirements:

  • You’ve worked in cross-functional teams, collaborating directly with areas like Product, Sales, Engineering and Ops.
  • You’re allergic to useless jargon and overcomplicated language.
  • You know how to use data and research to guide your approach.
  • You like doing the doing – we’re a start-up, and you’ll be in the systems, pulling the data, and making stuff happen.
  • You’re comfortable questioning a brief and helping people to understand why your approach is the right one.
  • You’ve had significant experience as a writer previously (not just in content marketing or journalism).

What the job involves:

  • We’re looking for someone to look after the overall quality of our writing. It’s a foundational role with a lot of responsibility, and the scope to help shape the future of a really fast-growing business.
  • You’ll work across Marketing, Sales, Product and Ops to make sure all our writing is working hard, across every customer touchpoint.
  • This isn’t just a copywriting role, and it isn’t just a UX writing role. You’ll have a hand in everything.
  • There are new brand and writing guidelines in place, which you’ll take control of and evolve over time.
  • This role is ideal for someone who’s looking for the chance to lead and grow a writing function from the ground up. It sits in the Marketing Team, but you’ll work across the whole company.
