Are you experienced caring for children with medical conditions? Sunrise Nanny Agency has an exciting opportunity for a professional to support a boy aged 12 years old within school located in Petersfield, GU32. He has recently been diagnosed with type one diabetes and requires professional support throughout the school day from 8:15am until 5:30pm.

You will be there to support his medical condition, recording the day’s activities/food intake, checking sugar levels, ensuring his wellbeing throughout the school day and offering medical support should a hypo occur.

You must hold previous experience supporting children/young people with medical conditions, and you will be relevantly qualified and experienced to offer full medical support to a child with diabetes with a clear understanding of the condition. Paediatric nurse qualifications are ideal; however, extensive relevant professional experience such as working in a special school/medical care setting will be considered. Checkable relevant career history is essential. Clear DBS check is essential.

Position to ideally start 20th April, with flexibility on start date for the right professional. Position is expected to last for around a year until he is more stabilised. Position is offered term time only on an independent school timetable: 20th April until 2nd July then from 7th September 2026. Competitive rate offered to secure the right professional.
