A full time permanent nanny is sought for a wonderful family in Lilliput, Poole. The family has two girls, a baby 6 months old and a 4 1/2 year old. The position is to start in October 2026.
The family offers 49 hours per week over 4 1/2 days:
- Monday 8-6
- Tuesday 7-7
- Wednesday 7-7
- Thursday 8-6
- Friday 8-1
Your daytimes will be focused on the baby, providing a fun age-appropriate day within the home and local community, with plenty of fresh air and stimulating activities. You will support with nursery duties when the baby sleeps, such as laundry, tidying the kitchen, tidying children's spaces, meal preparation, and activity planning.
You will provide care for the 4 1/2 year old before school, after school, and during the school holidays. Duties include school drop-offs and collections, and support with reading, school homework, and after-school activities. During the school holidays, the nanny will arrange fun days out to the beach, forest, and country parks, balanced with fun at home for both children.
You must feel confident providing sole charge care of the children, have proven baby experience, and a clear understanding of baby/childhood milestones, with the confidence to implement and support each stage of development. The right nanny will hold a minimum of 3 years professional childcare experience with checkable references. You will be a car driver with your own car for work purposes. Previous nanny experience is preferred, and previous professional under 5s experience is essential.
The family offers £14 gross per hour, £35,672 gross per year (please note this is the top salary available).
