A permanent part time nanny is sought to join a family with a 2-year-old boy. The family requires support two days a week, providing sole charge care for 4 - 5 hours each day. To secure the right nanny, the family is flexible on which days of the week the nanny works and on start and finish times to suit the nanny's availability.
The right nanny will have previous experience caring for children with autism, be comfortable providing 'now and next' cards, and support the child with a consistent routine. The nanny should enjoy one-to-one play at home and provide trips to the park and in the local area.
A car driver with their own car is preferred. Previous nanny experience is preferred, and previous professional childcare experience with checkable references is essential. Extra ad hoc babysitting hours and weekend daytime hours are available if the nanny wishes for extra hours, although these are not essential.
The nanny rate will reflect qualifications and experience, with the agency recommending between £15-£20 per hour. A prompt start is preferred; however, the family is happy to wait for notice periods for the right long-term nanny.
