How to prepare for a job interview at Sunrise Nanny Agency

Know the Family

Before your interview, take some time to research the family and their needs. Understand the ages of the children and any specific requirements they might have, especially regarding the eldest child's medical and neurodivergent needs. This will show that you’re genuinely interested and prepared.

Showcase Your Experience

Be ready to discuss your previous experience with school-age children, particularly any relevant situations where you've supported children with similar needs. Bring along checkable references that can vouch for your skills and reliability as a nanny.

Demonstrate Your Organisation Skills

Since the role involves household duties like meal prep and tidying, prepare to talk about how you manage these tasks efficiently. You could even share examples of how you’ve organised fun activities or routines in the past to keep children engaged.

Ask Thoughtful Questions

Prepare some questions to ask the family during the interview. Inquire about their daily routines, what they value in a nanny, and how they support their children’s unique needs. This not only shows your interest but also helps you gauge if it’s the right fit for you.
