Sunrise Nanny Agency are working with a lovely family who seek a permanent housekeeper/nanny to join their family. You will be supporting a family of 6 with 4 children, G13, B11, G10, G7. The ideal hours will be 32 hours per week over a 12-hour day on Monday and 4 mornings from 6:15am until 11:15am. Although 3 mornings are considered.
The position is offered long term, ideally all year round although term time only is considered. Duties include:
- Supporting the morning routine, including making breakfast, taking children to swim practice, ensuring everyone is ready for the day, and taking children to school/bus stop.
- Returning to the house to support with full housekeeping including clearing away breakfast, tidying/cleaning kitchen, laundry, ironing, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning bathrooms, tidying and organising children's bedrooms, and prepping meals/cooking.
- On a Monday, supporting the after-school routine including collecting children from school, taking the children to activities, supporting with homework, dinner, and providing a fun age-appropriate afternoon.
The right professional will be a naturally organised person, comfortable with all aspects of running the family home. You will be confident in managing your time and structuring your days to ensure everything is completed to a high standard. A genuine love for animals and comfort with animal care such as feeding animals and walking dogs is essential. You must hold previous professional housekeeping/childcare experience with checkable references. You will be a naturally neat person with good attention to detail and a car driver (car available to use on duty). A positive proactive approach to work and the ability to offer long-term commitment, becoming part of the family, is required. A clear Enhanced DBS check is essential.
Sunrise Nanny Agency has a long-standing relationship with the family. Both the agency and current nannies recommend the job. The family offers a competitive rate for the right experienced professional. The position is to ideally start ASAP, although the family will wait for notice periods for the right nanny/housekeeper.
