A delightful family in the Highcliffe area of Christchurch seek a nanny to join their family. The family require support on either a Tuesday, Thursday or Friday for 6 hours per day. They can be flexible on the days of the week the nanny works and on start and finish times to suit the nanny's availability.
The family require one day a week immediately and two days a week from September, although they are happy to have two days a week sooner. You will be providing sole charge care for a 3-year-old boy who has autism. The right nanny will have previous experience caring for children with autism, feel comfortable providing 'now and next' cards, and support the child with a consistent routine.
You will enjoy being child-focused, engaging in lots of one-to-one play at home, and providing trips to the park and in the local area. A car driver with their own car is preferred. Previous nanny experience is preferred, and previous professional childcare experience with checkable references is essential.
Extra ad hoc babysitting hours and weekend daytime hours are available if the nanny wishes for extra hours, although these are not essential. The nanny rate will reflect qualifications and experience, with the agency recommending between £15-£20 per hour. A prompt start is preferred; however, the family are happy to wait for notice periods for the right long-term nanny.
