The predicted salary is between 13 - 16 £ per hour.
Purpose: To provide medical services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to enable them to maintain optimal health and wellbeing.
Qualifications:
- Must successfully complete the required pre-employment Background and Drug Screenings
- Must possess a valid Driver's License which meets company standards for approved driver status
- Must possess basic computer skills
- Must possess current and valid license for Practical Nurse
- Experience working with people with intellectual/developmental disabilities preferred
Essential Functions:
- Assists in providing basic healthcare services according to the individual’s plan ensuring each individual’s optimal health and wellbeing
- Performs tasks as delegated, such as blood pressure monitoring, weights, and other assigned tasks
- Ensures all documentation is accurate and complete according to regulations
- Responsible for the organization and cleanliness of supplies and equipment, ensuring restocking of inventory
- Collaborates with Direct Support Professionals to ensure that the needs of the individuals are being met
- Communicates immediately any changes in medical or behavioral status to supervisor
- Performs all other duties as assigned
