The Business Systems Technical Analyst is responsible for supporting, enhancing, and integrating core enterprise applications across the organization, including ERP, WMS, manufacturing, reporting, and integration platforms.

This role serves as the technical bridge between business stakeholders, software vendors, and technology teams to ensure business systems are reliable, scalable, and aligned with operational requirements.

The successful candidate will possess strong SQL development skills, experience working with ERP and warehouse management solutions, and a solid understanding of application integrations, APIs, and database technologies.

This role is highly hands-on and requires both troubleshooting and solution delivery capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Systems Support & Enhancement
  • Provide day-to-day support for ERP, WMS, and related enterprise applications.
  • Investigate and resolve application issues, data discrepancies, and process exceptions.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Work with business users to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
  • Coordinate with software vendors and implementation partners on support and enhancement initiatives.
  • Database & SQL Development
  • Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and scripts.
  • Support data extraction, transformation, validation, and reporting requirements.
  • Analyze application data structures and troubleshoot database-related issues.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and performance across business systems.
  • Application Integration
  • Support and enhance integrations between ERP, WMS, transportation, manufacturing, and third-party systems.
  • Assist with API design, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation.
  • Monitor integration performance and resolve data synchronization issues.
    Participate in the design and implementation of new system integrations.
  • Systems Analysis & Solution Design
  • Gather business and technical requirements from stakeholders.
  • Document current and future state processes.
  • Develop functional and technical specifications.
  • Participate in solution architecture discussions and system design reviews.
  • Project Delivery
  • Support business systems projects, upgrades, and implementations.
  • Participate in testing activities including system, integration, UAT, and regression testing.
  • Assist with change management, training, and deployment activities.
  • Provide technical expertise during ERP and application modernization initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Experience

  • 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise business applications.
  • 3+ years of SQL development and database administration experience.
  • Experience working with ERP systems in a business or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience supporting Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Experience designing, troubleshooting, or supporting system integrations and APIs.
  • Hands‑on experience with Microsoft SQL Server environments.
