Responsibilities
- We’re expanding, which means we are looking for an Audit Junior who may have recently finished their degree in either Accounting and Finance, Economics or a related field.
- This role is ideal for someone who aspires to learning and progressing in the Audit and Accounts field as well as studying towards ACA/ACCA, with a fully funded study package (including the time off to attend courses and exams).
- The duties will involve providing accurate accounting and assurance services to a diverse range of clients, as directed by the Manager, within budget and in accordance with firm procedures.
- Assisting with accounts preparation for Limited companies, Sole traders and Partnerships.
- Analysing data to form the basis of the accounts.
- Completing assigned audit areas to a high standard as directed by senior members of staff.
- Ensuring all client work is completed within applicable reporting deadlines and client requests.
- Ensuring all jobs are completed within specific budgets, keeping Manager informed at all times of progress of job.
- Assisting with ad‑hoc duties as and when is required.
About You
You will be confident in working to a high standard, have excellent communication skills and a flexible approach to your work. Additionally, we’d like you to have/be:
- Competent using Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Outstanding time management skills and ability to prioritise work.
- Excellent work ethics and eagerness to learn.
- Great attention to detail and organisational skills.
