The HVAC Installer will be responsible for residential installation of HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners and heat pumps.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Install residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners and heat pumps.
- Replace or retrofit HVAC systems to meet current efficiency and safety standards.
- Install thermostats, controls, and related accessories.
- Test system functionality and ensure proper airflow and temperature control.
- Collaborate with customers to explain the installation process and answer questions.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Work closely with dispatch and warehouse to ensure timely job completion.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Minimum 3-5+ years of HVAC installation experience preferred.
- Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical school a plus).
