This growing international company with a large UK presence is built on family values and innovation. We are looking for a Goods In - Quality Control Technician to join our West Wales factory in Felinfach near Lampeter, Ceredigion.

Role Overview

The main purpose of this role is to ensure that the reception of liquid goods adheres to specification and complies with food and feeds safety acceptance limits. The technician will also complete key hygiene tasks to support continuous improvement in factory hygiene.

Responsibilities

  • Report to the Quality Assurance Manager and support daily quality operational activities.
  • Act as a member of the factory Technical Team, reporting to the Quality Control Manager or Supplier Quality Assurance Manager in the absence of the manager.
  • Escalate technical issues to the Technical Manager as required.
  • Develop good communication with other departments, particularly around daily production planning and supply of processing materials.
  • Serve as the first point of contact and act as ambassador for the company, maintaining professional and courteous communication with delivery drivers.

Qualifications

  • Dairy Hygiene Certifications.
  • Fork Truck Licence – desirable.
  • HACCP Awareness.
  • IOSH Working Safely certificate – desirable.
  • Hands-on approach.
  • Basic computer literacy.
  • Proof of Right to Work in the UK; the company is unable to sponsor visas.
