Carries out and assists in directing highly skilled installation, preventive maintenance, repair and testing of industrial electrical equipment, machinery, tools and related lighting, power generation and supply systems.

Responsible for carrying out ATEx inspections and remedial work on a variety of systems.

Responsible for all reactive & preventative maintenance across a variety of critical equipment.

Ensures that all aspects of work are executed on time and in compliance with UK legislation and standards.

Installs and repairs high and/or medium voltage equipment, and carrying out site repairs as necessary, before recommissioning and testing equipment.

Carries out scheduled overhauls of low, medium and high voltage electrical equipment including electrical generators and transmission equipment, tools switchgear and transformers.

Carries out high level corrective maintenance of HVAC installations

Completion of Secondary education

Completion of recognised Electrical Craft Apprenticeship or equivalent

Certified as a Senior Authorised Person (SAP)

Certified to 17th Edition wiring regulations

Qualified in Hazardous Area Inspections e.g. COMPEx EX 01, 02, 03 and 04

Certified to isolate High Voltage circuits is preferable
