Our client, a leading business in the manufacturing industry based in Pembrokeshire, is seeking a knowledgeable Quality Systems Manager to join their busy on site team.

Job Description:

The role: As Quality Systems Manager, you will be responsible for leading the Quality Management System to ensure safe, consistent production and robust manufacturing practices across the site. You will develop and maintain quality strategies, policies, and systems aligned with BRC standards, while contributing to the ongoing strategic development and reporting of quality performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the company’s Quality Management Systems in line with legislation, BRC standards, and customer requirements.
  • Review and update quality policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure compliance.
  • Oversee internal and external audits, including scheduling and corrective action tracking.
  • Ensure accurate supplier approvals and manage customer technical requirements.
  • Lead food safety risk assessments for new equipment and monitor compliance areas like pest control and water quality.
  • Generate quality KPI reports and support strategic technical planning.
  • Conduct on farm audits and ensure farm standard compliance.
  • Maintain calibration schedules and customer information portals.

What we need from you:

  • Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, GMP, BRCGS standards, and retailer requirements.
  • Experience in Quality or Technical Management within food manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with relevant legislation and Health & Safety standards.
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Confident in audits and maintaining confidentiality.
  • HND or Degree in a food related discipline.
  • Intermediate/Advanced Food Hygiene certification.
